This is one of three appointments we are making to work with existing NCCA staff to achieve the following: launch an international VFX Festival; liaise with VFX firms on collaborative projects; build a training, production and consultancy service; and link with the Centre for Entrepreneurship to launch new graduate businesses. You will be a highly talented and enthusiastic individual with degree-level knowledge of computer animation to set up a new commercial animation production studio within the NCCA. With experience of the production of computer animated media, your working knowledge of computer animation systems will be essential. Location: Bournemouth, UK. Salary: GBP 45,000 a year.

Graphic Designer
An experienced graphics person is needed in our office working on our weekly community newspaper. The core role is producing effective advertisements for clients. You must be proficent with Indesign CS5 and Photoshop 5. Other tasks can be expected, including photo editing and layout. You will be working closely with our newspaper team. You must be able to handle the pressure of deadlines and work beyond 5pm as necessary. This is a competitive field and working to a weekly deadline to produce the best newspaper is important. Our advertising clients needs are crucial and we expect our graphic designer to be customer focused in all areas. Presently we are the only newspaper in a strong growth mode.
