Vendor Liaison

Serves customers by selling and demonstration of products; meeting customer needs.Duties: services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor, focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers, submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature, keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses, monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.Location: Peachtree, GA, USA. Salary:$65,000 a year.

Market Research Associate

Responsibilities includes outreach to business including sector market analysis, networking, promotion and events; facilitate industry commercialization projects, analyze the barriers to development of new technologies, products and services, identify multidisciplinary resources and recommend action plans; supply strategic sector knowledge and experience to BCIT Schools and CAP team; assess client business strategies and provide advice and linkages to business support services; liaise with the BCIT Schools to encourage the development of commercialization and applied research programs to support identified BC industry needs; support the ongoing monitoring, continuous improvement, and reporting activities within the CAP. Qualifications include a bachelors degree or Institute of Technology Diploma in an area suitable for the work to be performed and six years relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; demonstrated ability to establish applied research projects and provide leadership to project teams; outstanding knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends and outstanding applied research experience in one or more of the unit's identified strategic technologies. Location: Various places in Canada. Salary ca: CAD60,000 a year.
