Database Operator

Manage the production team to ensure the Aeronautical Navigation Database is maintained at all times: ensuring an effective, efficient quality service is provided ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met on time and in full. Responsibilities: overall planning and monitoring of production, productivity, standards and workflow within the section; ensure the maintenance of the database is to the required specification and standard, ensuring that pre-determined deadlines are met. Ensure work instructions are maintained, developed and communicated; manage the team in terms of production, productivity, motivation and effectiveness; manage and promote team work and multi-functionality where ever possible; manage effectively and efficiently all team administration ensuring all company and external policies and procedures are adhered to; liaise with the Production Manager to ensure all team members including new starters are developed to the required level/standard and on an ongoing basis; to maintain open lines of communication with internal customers, to ensure on-time delivery of products to the required standard; ensure authorization of appropriate completion dates for production, with a focus on the quality process and customer significance; participate in internal and external auditing, and customer liaison visits where required. Location: Hersham, UK. Salary: GBP35,000 yearly.

Data Analyst

The Data Analyst is predominantly a trainee role and will be involved in learning and developing skills to manage and process all aeronautical information to the required specification on time and in full. Responsibilities: process and distribute documents (NOTAMS, AIP Amendments/Supplements, AIC's) following the Local Work Instructions (LWI); maintains the eLibrary documentation and ensures all relevant administrative records are updated and current; identify and record all discrepancies with documentation as per the LWI. Notify the relevant Team Leaders and other Agencies accordingly; respond efficiently and effectively with all day-to-day enquiries from external and internal customers; ensure workload is planned and prioritized to achieve pre-determined deadlines; participate as a team member within the department to ensure all duties are carried out on time and in full; ensure all quality procedures are adhered to at all times. Notify the relevant personnel of any non-conformances; ensure good housekeeping and that Health Safety is maintained at all times; participate in ad hoc projects or duties as assigned by the AIM Team Leader. Location: Scotland, UK. Salary:GBP18,000-22,000 per annum.
