Front Desk Clerk / Cashier

Responsibilites are: check guests in and out of the Conference Center according to established standards. Inform guests about the facility, policies and procedures; provide tourist information to guests. Handle all incoming calls, and transfers of calls to appropriate departments / guests; accurately take messages for guests; take, modify and cancel guestroom reservations; deal with inquiries, requests and complaints from guests; coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests; perform cashier duties and make change; post meal charges and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts; notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms or grounds; follow in-house procedure to help ensure the security of guests and employees; know the Conference Center emergency procedures; maintain cleanliness of Front Office area. Additional Responsibilities: the Conference Center operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work; employees are required to adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the Conference Center, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook. Location: Maryland MD, US. Salary: $31,121 per year.

Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will work with prospective clients who are Group Leaders looking to book multi-day motorcoach tours for groups of 30 people or more. The Tours' customer base is primarily, but not limited to, Senior and Family Groups. We deal with those who plan Bank Travel as well. The Group Leaders that travel with us originate from almost every state in the U.S. Our clients travel exclusively with their groups via motorcoach to destinations throughout the United States and in Canada. We look to hire Sales Representatives with extensive experience in the hospitality business or who have worked in the sales field with heavy customer interactions. Additional skills required include computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook), PC keyboard proficiency and accuracy, attention to detail, excellent grammar and ability to multitask. Our Sales Consultants maintain ongoing contact with their Accounts while developing relationships with new Accounts. The Outbound Sales Consultant must be able to easily establish rapport with a wide variety of clientele, be flexible, quick to learn and articulate. All clients communication is done by telephone. Sales leads will be provided for you by our Director of Sales. You will not be expected to generate new leads, so you can spend time cultivating existing leads. There is no traveling involved in this job. Location: Florida FL, US. Salary: $30,000 per year.
