Chamber Person

We are looking for a full time chamber person to clean the hotel bedrooms and bathrooms to very high standards. Includes serving early morning tea and breakfasts to rooms as well. Chamber person duties include complete cleaning operations of all the assigned rooms and other areas within a limited timeframe.You have to supply towels, new linens, toilet items, cleaning and writing supplies, and replace drinking glasses; sweep, mop, and polish everything in the areas using hotel cleaning tools; and maintaining common areas cleaning supplies. For you to qualify as a hotel chambermaid you must be dependable, responsible, reliable, and must be very dedicated to the work; must know how to listen carefully and follow directions from his / her manager; must have a positive disposition and must be very willing to work under dirty conditions. Location: New York, Albany, US. Salary: USD 1,518 per month.

Breakfast Bar Attendant

Breakfast Bar Attendants complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking equipment doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Take orders from customers, input orders into micros, and obtain payment and provide change. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Prepare food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Process all orders and collect payment from customers. Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Job Requirements: Previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred; Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers; Good hospitality skills; Must be able to multi-task; High School Diploma or equivalent and; Must have a valid ASIP / ProServe Certification. Location: Calgary, Canada. Salary: CAD 13.50 / Hour.
