Principal Strategic Planner
A municipality located 35 minutes west of Melbourne CBD is looking to recruit a Principal Strategic Planner to join its Growth Area Planning department on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia with a resident population growth that has doubled in the past 10 years. They offer the best of both worlds in a peri-urban environment. As a Principal Strategic Planner, you will report directly to the recently appointed Coordinator Strategic Planning and be responsible for developing, monitoring reviewing strategic policies, plans strategies. This is a significant role within it's planning department and for the right candidate, will challenge and fully utilise their skills and experiences as a planner. The right candidate will see projects from conception right through to implementation. You can expect to provide and prepare input into a number of strategic planning strategies including Growth Area Planning (including Structure Plans) Development Contribution Plans, Municipal Strategic Statement, Green Wedge Management plans and Activity Centre Plans. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Planning and/or relevant experience in the local market. As the 2IC to the Coordinator of the department you will be able to manage large scale and complex in nature strategic land use projects with little supervision. Location: Melbourne, Australia. Salary: AUD $72,000 - AUD $80,000 annually.
Internal Auditor-Government Contract
This large government department is currently seeking an experienced auditor at a senior to Manager Level to conduct compliance, financial and operational audits of its Business Units. Key skills / competencies sought include: Previous financial compliance audit experience; Internal or external audit background; Prior experience in the utilization of SAP and Teammate (or similar audit management software) would be desirable; Verbal and written communication skills; Commercial, Government or Professional sector experience; Undergraduate qualifications in Accounting; and certified Internal Audit (CIA) qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential. The position will operate under the guidance and control of the Director Internal Audit for the duration of the audit review. The contractor will be expected to utilize electronic audit software, developing an audit program, maintain working papers capable of supporting audit conclusions and resultant audit report findings and recommendations, and to develop a quality audit report for internal management. Location: Several Locations in Queensland, Australia. Salary: AUD $40 - 55 per hour.
Head of Public Sector Outsourcing
Reporting into the Group Business Development Director, your remit will be to help shape and lead the service proposition in this sector with both Local Authorities and potentially Central Government as well. The role is national and therefore candidates across the UK will be considered. You will lead future bids in the sector and get involved with solutions design and commercial / operational parts of any future business. The bids will focus on FM Outsourcing opportunities both hard and soft services along with some elements of middle and back office outsourcing. The successful candidate will need to have a background of bidding for FM Outsourcing work with either Local or Central Government departments and ideally have a successful track record of winning work for other FM and Outsourcing Providers in this market. You will need to be flexible to travel as necessary across the UK to meet with clients and lead the bids. EUR 80,000 - EUR 100,000 basic salary plus benefits. Location: Several Locations in Buckinghamshire, London.
