Shift Supervisor - Lead Hand, Card Finishing

Co-ordinate and control the activity of the Card. Finishing department to optimize resources, minimize cost and maintain quality standards. Plan, control and improve all production processes while ensuring all procedures and quality guidelines are adhered to. Evaluate the performance and the efficiency of staff and procedures. Accountable for signoffs on all machines during working shift within the Card Finishing department. Problem solve when issues arise on the Card Finishing equipment. Enter and record daily production data. Maintain proper security requirements. Responsible for meeting all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) deliverables. Ensure the production floor is maintained tidy and orderly. Daily recap of the events on the shift to department manager. Manage scrap levels in line with set targets. Hold daily meetings communicating expectations. Evaluate the performance and the efficiency of staff and procedures. Plan and control production activity within Card Finishing. Ensure highest quality of service is achieved in most efficient manner and at optimal costs. Continually review processes for improvement. Attend daily production meetings. Required to work on steady afternoon shift. May be required to work on other shifts (Days/Afternoons/Evenings). Overtime and weekend work at times maybe required. Responsible to maintain confidentiality. Maintain a professional and positive attitude. Safety shoes / boots are mandatory on Production/Manufacturing floor. Ability to: Work standing on both feet 100% of the time while operating machinery; Lift 10 - 50 lbs from the floor, up to waist level, frequently; Frequently bend, lift, walk as well as crouch and kneel; Requires keen eyesight and alertness to detail; May be required to work long periods of time at computer screen. Service Technician

The Successful Candidate Will: Inspect, maintain and repair all Industrial products both in house and at client locations; Report on stock levels for parts, perform physical counts and replenishments; Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, tools and equipment; Train new Service Technicians as required; Actively participate in the development of service programs in designated territory; Promotes related accessories and service agreements. Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications: Technical Certificate or Diploma from a community college or technical institution (Electrical and electronic technician diploma preferred); Ability to trouble shoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner; Strong oral and written communication skills; Certificate in handling dangerous goods; Valid Driver's Licence; Strong customer service orientation; Welding experience; Forklift experience; Knowledge of industrial battery applications and specifications an asset; Ability to speak French an asset. Automotive Project Engineer

The automotive Assembly Project Engineer duties will include: Perform new model digital engineering investigations for auto Assembly equipment. Participate in new model digital assembly investigation for Assembly processes. Issue Design Investigation Reports- DIRs to address vehicle/part issues impacting production. Determine equipment specifications for Assembly equipment - New and modification. Issue bid spec and hold vendor bid meeting for equipment design, fabrication, modification and installation. Review and explain equipment schedule and budget weekly/daily. Oversee equipment modification /installations. Assist in safety, quality and productivity confirmation of all equipment - new and modification. Track and complete all equipment problems identified. Skills/Requirements: Up to 5-years related experience. Auto CAD 2006+ experience (min 2 years). Desired: Catia Version 5 Release 18. Delmia Version 5 Release 18. Automotive Assembly Experience. 5-Years automotive manufacturing experience. Location: Kansas City MO - Salary: $110,080
