The successful candidate must: - Enjoy working with people. - Be proficient in computer and internet skills. - Be open to learning new methods of sales and marketing. - Be able to network in their community to generate new opportunities and spread the word about our brand. - Be able to multi-task and wear multiple hats. - Be able to mediate difficult situations and possess conflict-resolution skills. - Have good communication skills and be interested in promoting cultural exchange. - Must like to travel - although travel is limited, much of the sales bonus and incentives are provided in the form of national and international trips. It is important that you would speak German to our girls as they are already fluent. Your responsibilities would also include: getting them ready for school, preparing meals, organizing their rooms, and laundry, bathing them, and helping them get ready for bed. In addition, Area Directors play a key role in building our company's brand in their communities. Through grass-roots marketing and networking, you will build your region and earn exciting financial rewards for doing so. Education: College Degree or comparable experience. Job responsibilities include actively marketing the Au Pair care program to increase host family participation, conducting in-home interviews and arrival orientations, providing education and support to host families and au pairs, facilitating a positive placement experience for participants and creating and holding monthly cultural events. Area Directors are the face of the company in their communities and are supported by a strong team of field managers and corporate staff. The ideal candidate for this flexible part-time position will possess excellent communication, marketing and sales skills. A college degree or comparable experience is a plus. Area Director compensation plan provides income for servicing host families as well as a strong bonus program for increasing program participation.
