- You must be educated to high school level or higher.
- You must have US citizenship or resident status or the right to live and work in the United States.
- You must be 19 years of age or above with a minimum overhead arm reach of 81.9 inches.
- You must be fluent in written and spoken English and be fluent in one of the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Japanese.
- Previous experience in the service industry is preferable

Senior Analyst - Fleet Transactions

This position will support the Director - Fleet Transactions in implementing the fleet plan. This position requires extensive financial analysis/modeling and contract interpretation skills, and the ability to summarize findings concisely for recommendations to senior management. It also requires extensive coordination and communication with various departments (such as Fleet Planning, Fleet Management, Accounting, Legal, Corporate Finance, Tax, Technical Operations, Technology, etc) to gather information and facilitate transactions. Responsibilities:
- Negotiate the purchase of aircraft from lessors.
- Negotiate lease extensions with lessors.
- Negotiate return condition settlements with lessors.
- Support the development and implementation of the strategy for the disposition of surplus aircraft and spare engines.
- Locate buyers and negotiate sale of surplus aircraft and spare. engines.
- Quantify expected return condition costs and coordinate with accounting regarding special charges.
- Manage the contract with retained broker assisting in marketing efforts.
- Quantify return condition settlement costs.
- Negotiate favorable outcomes on return condition settlements with lessors.
- Negotiate favorable terms on lease extensions.
- Identify and justify opportunities to purchase aircraft off lease
- Maximize value from the sale, lease, or sublease of surplus aircraft
Experience: Three to five years or more of airline experience specializing in financial analysis and contract negotiations required Location: Chicago, IL, USA, Salary: $65 - 75K
